Temperatures at the bus stop will be mainly in the 20s across the region by Thursday morning. After the frigid start, temperatures will once again only top off in the low to mid 40s Thursday afternoon but thanks to a northwest breeze it will feel like the upper 30s.

DC weather: Snow across parts of region Friday morning prompts school delays, disrupts commute
Snow continued falling across parts of the Washington, D.C., area into Friday afternoon after a morning of school closures, delays and a messy commute.
The Maryland State Highway Administration will be pretreating all interstates and major routes in the Maryland suburbs of D.C., as well as Baltimore, Harford, Frederick, Carroll and Howard counties and expect to be completed by Monday evening in advance of the onset of the storm, a spokesperson told WTOP.
Happening now: A wintry mix, which could create some slick spots, gradually changes to plain rain in our colder north and west areas this morning. Elsewhere, mostly rain falls after a possible brief wintry mix. The cold rain ends by midafternoon.
